The walls of Troy , they say it was a myth until Heinrich Schliemann came along. The BBc video and one of the web sites (Bethany Hughes) said that he discovered a site of an ancient city that might be the city of Troy.The book of Iliad that tells the satory of the epic and the city call Troy.
Archaeologist dug on the same site and confirmed that the hill is the site of nine cities built on top of each other. Schliemann believed he discovered the Troy of the Iliad the layers was contained evidence of the city that had existed on the site from 3,ooo BCE to 400 CE. And over time the walls crumbled, they were buried under the earth. This they say was no longer known as troy.
